Posted by Jamie Handley Marketing & Bid Manager

Jefferson Sheard Architects have successfully achieved planning permission for the 20-storey mixed-use scheme on Edgeware Road, London.

Working with clients Utility Warehouse Limited, our design for 165 homes arranged over 5 to 20 storeys with 1,322sqm of retail/commercial space and 2 levels of basement parking, received unanimous approval from the planning committee.

Clare Ailward, Jefferson Sheard Architects Project Director, said,

“We are delighted that this major scheme has been awarded planning permission. The accommodation provides tenure blind family sized homes and smaller 1 and 2 bed apartments set around shared podium gardens and play space – presenting a broad range of options for prospective residents. Retail and commercial spaces at street level activates the streetscape and delivers an excellent prospect for business growth and local employment opportunities.”

Joe Dickeson, Jefferson Sheard Architects Director, added,

“This is a fantastic result and testament to the handwork of the design team. The project has been developed with a clear goal to enhance the streetscape of the area whilst providing high quality residential and commercial accommodation and integrating usable community focused outdoor space.”
