Jefferson Sheard Architects Appointed on Transport for Greater Manchester Professional Services Framework

Jefferson Sheard Architects have been appointed on the Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Transport Professional Services (TPS) Framework (Lot 6 Architectural Services). As an appointed member on the framework, we will be given the opportunity to bid for architectural services over the next four years (2021-2025) on a combined framework value, across all lots, of up to £88 million. This substantial plan of works will enhance TfGM’s transport offering across Greater Manchester, the UK’s largest regional economy outside of London.

The framework encompasses bus, Metrolink and rail, seamlessly integrating with improved walking and cycling infrastructure driven by a focus on communities and sustainability. Jefferson Sheard Architects will apply over 30 years design and delivery experience in the transport sector to present innovative design solutions to benefit the city of Manchester, with the goal of creating a legacy TfGM can be proud of supporting Greater Manchester’s Right Mix vision for 50% of all journey to be made by walking, cycling and public transport by 2040.
