Health & Life Sciences Modular Build

We were appointed by Leeds Trinity University to design and deliver a new Health and Life Sciences teaching facility on their main campus.

The modular construction method chosen for the project enhances the buildings’ sustainable credentials and creates savings on overall build costs and programme. We combed our extensive specialist University and Healthcare sector experience to the benefit of the design, focusing on the end user experience.

The scheme includes a health training lab, a wet room for teaching assistance and independent living, a flat to simulate independent living care, a single room for teaching high dependency care and barrier nursing care, a ward for teaching general nursing, an assisted bathing room for teaching personal care delivery and clinical practical room for teaching clinical skills and proficiencies.

We provided full architectural services through all RIBA stages from 0-7.

The scheme was shortlisted for the Modern Methods of Construction Awards 2024.

“I felt the architect team listened to all aspects of design and supported the vision from start to end point to achieve the desired outcome. I was consulted throughout and able to make tweaks and changes as we went along.”
