Our solution encompassed a breath-taking wall of light coupled with a large circular lightwell to zone areas and create interest in the space. Through our reconfiguration of the layout we enabled the transfer of the retail, seating and shopping area creating a friendly secure environment which included aesthetically pleasing and artistically innovative feature installations in all zones.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was ensuring the terminal remained operational and safe throughout the refurbishment. We worked with the contractor to develop a phased approach to enable a strong and steady flow of passengers throughout the build. We also worked closely with the retail managers to reduce the impact on trading and consultation on the final design.
