The new accommodation, at the Scarborough TEC Filey Road campus, provides workshops for Engineering, Fabrication and Welding, Plumbing, Brickwork, Painting and Decorating, Joinery, Electrician training and Motor Vehicle Workshop. A key driver in the design development was to create flexible spaces to encompass practical and theoretical learning, in order to reduce the reliance on additional dedicated classroom provision.
