Jefferson Sheard’s major three phase student accommodation scheme at Egham Hill, Surrey, is now complete and ready for the new academic year.

Phase three of the scheme, also known as ‘The Podium’, is an £11m development comprising 178 self-contained studio rooms for students of The Royal Holloway University of London. Commissioned by our Client, HG Construction (for Danehurst), the high quality scheme provides an inclusive, comfortable and stylish space for both living and learning.

Adjacent to ‘The Podium’ is ‘The Pad’ – which forms Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the development. The scheme is spread over four buildings, three of which are adjoined around a landscaped garden. To minimise construction time and costs we used pre-fabricated bathroom pods, a method Jefferson Sheard has implemented successfully in the past on a range of student accommodation projects, including the major scheme at Mile End Road, London.
