Three Jefferson Sheard projects have been shortlisted in the Education Estates Awards 2016.
Learning Resource Centre at Hymers College
Two key projects at Hymers College, Hull – the Music Building and Learning Resource Centre - have been shortlisted in the Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Innovation in Delivering Value and Project of the Year categories.
The music building at Hymers College
The new Beverley Campus at East Riding College has been shortlisted in the Innovation and Teaching and Learning category. This shortlist follows the project’s recognition in both the RICS Awards and Civic Trust Awards earlier this year.
Both projects at Hymers College have contributed to the prestigious School’s expanding property portfolio, incorporating new-build and refurbishment elements to the beautiful Grade II listed campus. The Music Building provides acoustically excellent rehearsal space and teaching rooms; the Learning Resource Centre is a social heart of the School, providing a space for self-directed and group learning across two levels.
Atrium at the Beverly Campus
The shortlisting highlights the Practice’s prolific activity in the Education sector over recent years, and, in particular, focusses on our activity in the East Riding of Yorkshire where we have seen activity flourish.
The awards ceremony will take place on the 18th October. Fingers crossed for a win!
